Anthony Tholkes

Tony is a Data Analyst and Informatics Consultant for the Best Practices Informatics Core (BPIC) in the Institute for Health Informatics at the University of Minnesota. He joined BPIC in February 2018 and acts as a liaison between primary investigators and the clinical data repository. He began working in healthcare in 2011 in diabetes research at Park Nicollet's International Diabetes Center. In 2014, Tony joined the Healthcare Research and Quality Division of the Minnesota Department of Human Services as a Claims Data Analyst. He has experience with all aspects of healthcare data, including claims and electronic health records. Tony is currently pursuing a master's of science degree through the University of Minnesota's School of Public Health.
