Gretchen Sieger
Gretchen Sieger is the Director of Operations for Clinical Informatics in the Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s (CTSI) Health Informatics Program. She leads the Best Practices Integrated Informatics Consulting Core (BPIC), overseeing a team of data analysts and partnering with data architects, developers, and application programmers to deliver the data ecosystems and services that support hundreds of investigators and research projects annually.
With more than two decades of experience in clinical research, data analytics, and health information technology, Gretchen drives the strategic and operational execution of CTSI’s informatics services to accelerate clinical and translational science across the institution. She is a champion of team-science approaches grounded in interoperability, open access, and cross-functional collaboration and serves as a key institutional resource for data governance, regulatory compliance, and the responsible use of clinical and multimodal data in research.
