Rubina Fatima Rizvi, MD, PhD
Dr. Rizvi is a Physician Informaticist with a career that is a blend of international and US education and experience. As a clinician and a health informatician, she has over 10 years of extensive research experience entailing planning, designing, conducting, and disseminating results of rigorous scientific research in the informatics domain. Her areas of interest include evaluating innovative digital health technologies (e.g., artificial Intelligence-based clinical decision support tools, telemonitoring tools) from end-users (clinicians and patients) perspectives. She has expertise in conducting mixed-method studies, entailing both qualitative data and quantitative collection/data analyses. Her passion is to promote and facilitate equitable healthcare delivery by leveraging digital technologies and being a patient advocate by involving them as patient partners in research. She has over 50 publications (27 as first or senior author) / poster presentations on her portfolio that have been published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences, with several additional ones in the pipeline.
