Dr. Tori Christiaansen received her MD from University of Minnesota Medical School in 1999 and completed University of Minnesota family medicine residency at St. John’s Hospital.  Since 2002, her clinical practice at M Health Fairview initially began with the full scope of family medicine practice including obstetrics, inpatient and critical care, ambulatory care including skilled nursing facilities; today, her practice is primarily within the outpatient clinic and skilled nursing facility settings.  Dr. Christiaansen has practiced clinical informatics since 2010, starting as Medical Director of Informatics, becoming board certified in Clinical Informatics in 2015, and leading Ambulatory Clinical Decision Support since 2016.  Since 2017, she currently serves as the Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer of Training and Efficiency leading M Health Fairview's provider (re)-training program aimed at improving provider satisfaction and competency with health information technology and use of the electronic health records.
